I am not one of those people who are hard to please. But, when it comes to art, in any form, my standards are high and only the very best will do. I have never been disappointed in anything that the creative team of John Taylor and Patty Palazzo have fashioned. They have high standards and a stunning vision both as individual artists and as an ingenious creative squad.

TTP*RETRO is visually stunning and designed with a sharp eye and a skilled inspiration. Patty has really proved herself to be a master of her craft with exceptional taste. It’s truly a gallery of her creative progression and brilliance. The magazine is an expression of history, a physical definition of ‘the process’ that you can savour, hold in your hands and be proud that you have been a part of it somehow. TTP has always been a community of like minds, connecting lives and computers all over the world. Looking through this magazine is yet again, another extension of that reality. Every image and written bit is a snapshot back in time. An ‘I remember when…’ rundown of what we’ve all come to love and respect about the site and it’s productivity.

Patty Palazzo is a star in her own right. Each time I journey through the pages I am blown away by its beauty and precision. My hat goes off to the hard work and intensity of what she has accomplished in seven years with the website and how beautiful it looks as a magazine. It’s a Patty Palazzo greatest hits package, isn’t it? It gets top marks.

Celebrating John’s music is something I have always been into and proud of. His music is an expression of the times, of the man and of the world where he lives. He has shared so much of himself through TTP with us, in his music and contributions on the site both written and in chat rooms. It’s rewarding to be face to face with someone we’ve all grown up with and admired for years. It’s as overwhelming for us as it is for him. But the wonderful thing about all of it is that we’re really all just people sharing an experience coming through his bass, his poetry and technology. This magazine chronicles JT through his finest years with the notion that there is so much more goodness to follow.

The inclusion of the CD was a great idea. It’s an exceptional combination, much like John and Patty are. The CD represents what the site celebrates, John’s music and artistry, some of his best. The magazine is a visual library of Patty’s paramount brilliance and artistic intelligence.

I happily support ‘the process’ daily and am proud to have been along for the ride thus far. I can’t wait to see what the future brings. Again, as always, my expectations have been exceeded.
